We come to the realization that a self-centered lifestyle will not satisfy us. Therefore, we have decided to use the knowledge, abilities and possibilities that have been given to us for the benefit of other people.

All of the people are telling me the same thing: „We are poor, we can do nothing.“ “But come and we can talk together, come and let us see what you really have. Yes, you are unemployed, but you have a lot of free time. You have a church building, which is empty from Monday to Saturday, and there are many children who are hanging around and are not going to school. Why don’t you teach them in the church? Do you know how to cook? Your neighbor is very sick and she is not able to cook for herself. Who is feeding her children?” I want people to see the many opportunities that exist around them. I want them to begin using what they have to help their neighbors and begin to see their needs. Lately I have seen the joy of those people who have discovered that they are not powerless, but that they are able to help another person who is in a worse situation than their own.
