Kiumbes at Boardgaming
Once again, our Kiumbes found what they like best. From October 8 to October 16, they had the chance to present themselves altogether four times in public. Their presentation took place as part of Boardgaming, the Festival Full of Boardgames and Card Games, presentations, contests, free play and other events.
Yes, a presentation, that is exactly right for the Kiumbes. Ferrian and Flamster have the greatest inclination to presenting themselves. On the other hand, Woody, Claybie and Waterina from time to time stay in the background. But, then again, the proverb silent waters run deep is pretty relevant to our Waterina. Imagine their surprise when they were carried into the Tyrs House in Prague in Little Town and saw endless numbers of players dispersed in many rooms and chambers, which were filled to the maximum.
In any case, we too (their ) were very surprised that many of the visitors came directly to see the Kiumbes. And when we heard someone say "oh yeah, that's the game I saw at that event" or "come and have a look, that's the game we have already heard about several times", we were very pleased.
So the only thing that we have left to do now is thank, in the name of the Kiumbes, the Paluba Boardgame Club for inviting us and we hope that we will have the pleasure next year too of coming among the many people interested in boardgames and other games with our Mysterious Package From Africa. Well, the Kiumbes are excited about being able to play in Paluba even during the course of the year now, as they have become Paluba's new members.
