A Prayer for Home
„For you have been called to live in freedom, brothers. But do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love serve one another. Gal 5.13 This quotation from The Holy Scripture was put forward by the 5. Ecumenical Convention on Rip, which took place again this year on October 28. This meeting is actually a kind of fair about everything that is associated with a religious life: charity activities, vairous traditions of reverence, culture and many other activities.
This year and for the first time, we had the opportunity to take part in the „Opportunity Fair“ with an offer of our ever growing range of products. Our association was a part of the presentation on the acitivities of the Local Active Groups. A Prayer for Home is not of course just a mere "fair" but there is always also a rich programme of games and contests for children, youth and adults. Thanks to the geographical location of the event, which takes place close to the mountain Rip, a quieter musical and prayer programme was prepared in the rotunda of St. George. The main part of the event was the composed programme, A Prayer for Home, in the church of Krabcice village just below Rip.
